What is clinical nutrition?
It’s a holistic approach that acknowledges the impact of nutrition and the environment on your health. When the body is provided with the correct balance of foods, vitamins and minerals we stay healthier for longer.
My core belief when I’m assessing someone in front of me is that everyone is individual in regards to our genetics and metabolism, and our internal environment varies considerably in terms of gut flora, integrity or the intestinal wall and the immune system.
All of this affects our ability to process foods, absorb nutrients and detoxify and expel wastes.
